Mayhem, a little big designer

Photo taken from the MAYHEM WEB

When we were little our imagination wouldn't had limit, with one little stick we could easily create a doll, with one paperboard box make a hause... The imagination of the girl I'm going to show you has been developing in one original way.
Angie Keiser is a United States mother that one day she realized that her daughter, whose artistic name is Mayhem, had a special gift. Her girl, tired of wearing ordinary princess dresses decide to try objects to create costumes and dresses. With four years old Mayhem started creating costumes on Minnie Mouse, one shark, Elsa from Frozen... everything with plastic and cardboards. But she became famous when she started copying the most famous dresses from celebrities. Dresses from the red carpet.
Nevertheless her dresses from paper weren't any moment game, but a early vocation as a designer. Jenna Lyons, creative director from J.Crew seeing her potencial, signed her to design a children collection how was seen in 2015. She also set up a show from paper dresses in the week of Fashion in New York and uploaded a video from CFDA awards on Instagram.
Her mom said: "Our sincere hope is to help us all remember the freedom of imagination we had as kids, and to encourage a life that celebrates that imagination".

NUDITOS

In the previous post I spoke about Fimi. On this one I am going to talk about a section for new designers in the same way as Mereces Benz Fashion Week, Madrid has a day dedicated to the new talents, the Samsung Ego. On Fimi they also have a little space for the children's fashion creators. A place where you can enjoy the new proposes full of illusion and talent. This section is called Nuditos. At the moment there are four schools EASD, Escuela d’Art i Superior de Disseny de Valencia; ESNE, Escuela Universitaria de Diseño, Innovación y Tecnología de Madrid; la Escola de Arte y Superior de Diseño Mestre Mateo de Santiago de Compostela y la Escuela de Diseño de Moda Metrópolis de Sevillataking part in this event. Besides showing these creations in a stand, the students can participate in the catwalk and learn about this world in the talks from famous people in children's fashion. Yes, for a medic price!
Bellow are some pictures, I have gotten from previous editions.
